Refund Policy
Last updated: June 8, 2026 · Effective date: July 1, 2026
Article 1. Withdrawal of Subscription (Within 7 Days)
Where there is no record of use after purchase, a Member may withdraw the application for use within 7 days from the date of payment (Article 17 of the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce). In this case, the Company shall refund the amount after deducting any incidental costs and fees that the Company has borne or will bear.
Withdrawal of an application for use may be submitted to the customer center through the in-service inquiry, telephone, email (cs@bodaplay.ai), etc. It takes effect from the time the intention to withdraw reaches the Company.
Article 2. Refund Processing
Where there is a refund amount, the Company shall, as a matter of principle, request the operator for each payment method to stop or cancel the charge within 3 business days from the date it receives the expression of intention, and shall refund the amount through the same payment method the Member used.
However, the refund method, period, etc. may differ in the following cases:
- For payment methods that require confirmation of receipt, such as credit cards, within 3 business days from the date of confirmation of receipt
- For a refund that has passed the cancellation deadline set in advance by the operator for each payment method
- Where the Member does not immediately provide the information necessary for refund processing
Article 3. Refund for Mid-term Termination of Subscription Services
Upon mid-term termination of the service, deductions are made based on the number of days used and the amount of content used respectively, and the remaining amount is refunded after deducting the larger amount.
- Remaining-days amount = Monthly subscription price × (Remaining days / 30)
- Remaining-generation amount = Monthly subscription price × (Remaining number of generations / Number of generations provided)
- Refund amount (subscription) = The remaining value after deducting the larger of the remaining-days amount and the remaining-generation amount
Where usage is high, the refund amount may be small or zero, and where usage is 90% or more, a refund is not available. Upon approval of a refund, the relevant subscription is immediately terminated (canceled).
All amount calculations under this Article are rounded up to the nearest Won unit after the final total.
Article 4. Credit Refunds
After a content generation request is received and the provision of digital content begins, withdrawal of subscription or refund is restricted in accordance with Article 17(2)5 of the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
Common Refund Principles
- "No record of use" within 7 days of payment: 100% refund (common to subscription/package)
- Event Credits: not refundable (automatically expire when the period elapses)
- Refund method: partial card cancellation within 1 year of the payment date; no refund after 1 year has elapsed
Subscription Credits (Policy-Based Partial Refund)
A refund is available even where partially used, and the refund amount (subscription) shall be the remaining value calculated in accordance with the formula in Article 3. Upon approval of a refund, the relevant subscription is immediately terminated.
Package Credits
Where a refund is requested within 7 days of payment, a proportional refund is applied after deducting the used portion.
Formula: Refund amount = Payment amount − (Used Credits × (Payment amount ÷ Total Credits granted))
Refunds after 7 days from payment are restricted (with exceptions for statutory grounds).
Article 5. Overpayment
Where an overpayment arises in connection with payment for a paid service, the Company shall refund the full overpayment by the same method as the payment of the usage fee. Where the overpayment arises due to grounds attributable to the Company, the Company shall refund the full overpayment. However, where the overpayment arises due to grounds attributable to the Member, the costs incurred by the Company in refunding the overpayment shall be borne by the user within a reasonable scope.
Article 6. Prevention of Abuse
An account that attempts to abuse the refund policy may be restricted or terminated.
When a refund is completed, the relevant Credits are retroactively recovered from the Member's wallet, and thereafter no restoration, return or compensation may be claimed for content generated with those Credits.
